About CLASS
California Library Access Services South (CLASS) was formed in 2018 to serve as a networking, training/programming, and community-building resource for those working at all levels of access services in four-year academic institutions in Southern California. We operate year-round, beginning July 1st and ending June 30th.

When feasible, we hold an in-person event each spring or summer at a rotating academic library across Southern California. Attendance is limited to those serving in academic libraries in Southern California. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, in-person events have been on hold for several years, but we're hoping to offer an in-person gathering again in 2024, with one or more virtual activities between Fall 2023 and Spring 2024.
